In the heart of the Pacific Northwest, Beau and Katy’s wedding at Suncadia Resort combined the unexpected with the unforgettable. Originally from the Midwest, they chose Suncadia for its breathtaking beauty. The ceremony at The Lookout, with views of the Cle Elum River and Cascade Mountains, set a majestic backdrop for their vows. Despite rain and high winds, the couple embraced the storm, creating a poignant and moving celebration. Their resilience and love were highlighted by a rainbow during their first dance, symbolizing the beauty that can emerge from life’s challenges.

On Cameron and Jaylen’s crisp winter wedding day, guests bundled in their best ascended the candle-lined stairway before entering the warm, industrial foyer of SODO Park. Upon entering the venue, guests then walked through the tied-back ivory drapes which led them to the cozy, candle-lit ceremony space. The front of the ceremony was defined by an asymmetric pair of free-standing floral-covered columns, consisting of baby's breath, white roses, dried grasses, and lunaria.
Hanging bistro lights dangled gracefully above the ceremony space, creating a canopy of illumination that cast a warm and romantic glow over the entire scene. The soft, golden light from above was mirrored by the aisle lined with hundreds of ivory pillar candles within clear glass hurricane vases. The soft flicker of candlelight illuminated the path, casting a soft, intimate ambiance that seemed to come alive with every step. The candles, in their varying heights, added depth to the atmosphere, creating a sense of intimacy to the setting for the couple to exchange their vows.
Following the ceremony, guests were invited to indulge in an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in the adjacent room while the ceremony space was transformed into an industrial monochrome wedding dinner reception. Long exposed wood reception tables lined the center of the venue, surrounded by round tables covered in white table linens. These tables were adorned with flickering candlelight and plumes of playful baby’s breath, creating a rustic yet elegant ambiance. At the front of the room, the bride and groom sat at their candle-lit, rustic sweetheart table facing their wedding guests so they could fully witness and take in the special gathering.

Oh my goodness, everyone. These images of Neta and Evan's snowy engagement session are TO DIE FOR. I wanted to give them the opportunity to enjoy picture-perfect engagement photos because they were telling me how they were thinking of maybe just having their friend take one or two for their save-the-dates, and obviously, I was like no, no, no - that will not do. For a couple who has been together for NINE years and who has never had any professional photos taken of them together, their engagement session had to be done the right way.

The city of Seattle has some amazing views that make perfect backdrops for wedding and engagement photos. Myself and a few other wedding vendors took these two cuties to Golden Gardens Park for an evening wedding photography session and the results were too perfect! At golden hour, the setting sun reflected off the sparkling water of Puget Sound and cast the most beautiful light onto Hila and Caleb's romantic seaside picnic. The Olympic Mountain Range lingering in the background looked so peaceful and regal in the distance. Just thirty minutes north of Downtown Seattle, this beach destination was the perfect getaway from the big city!
